In 2006, he joined Bond University, graduating in 2010 with a Bachelor of Medicine degree, specializing in surgery.
During his medical studies, he excelled academically and participated in student-run clinics, providing health assessments and support to underserved communities on the Gold Coast. He also participated in research projects aimed at improving healthcare accessibility for culturally diverse populations.
His medical training included residencies at Nepean Public Hospital, completion of a Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course, and advanced training in skin and cancer surgery. He also earned a diploma in child health from Westmead Children’s Hospital in 2014 and a fellowship from the Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2015.
